Sorry, he said, but your reservation has been canceled and he had nothing to rent. So we returned to Enterprise and told the nasty employee we would take the van. So we did, and all they had were convertibles at twice the rate. The employee, a very rude person, suggested that we try the other companies to see what the had. We had reserved a car (Corolla or similar) far in advance with Enterprise, but when we arrived they had only one vehicle - a van with no way of covering our luggage(like a trunk). So it is pretty easy for them to take you for a ride. At the airport, all the rental companies are in one small room with a lot of interaction between employees of the brands.
What is most interesting here in Rapid City, is that Enterprise, National and Alamo work together to rip you off.
